Case study · Bright Ideas Electric

Great electrician. Quiet website.

Rob runs Bright Ideas Electric in Ringwood, New Jersey. His customers love him. His website wasn't doing anything about it. Here's how we got his phone ringing.

The problem

The reputation was real. The website wasn't working for it.

A website that sat still

His site went up in 2019 and was barely touched after that. It looked fine. It just wasn't working for him.

No way to know what worked

For about two years there were no analytics on it. When the phone rang, nobody could say what had sent the call.

His reviews were somewhere else

Most of his five-star reviews sat on Angi. Google, which decides who shows up on the map for "electrician near me", had far fewer.

Easy to mix up

There is more than one "Bright Ideas" electrician online. A homeowner searching at 9pm with a dead panel doesn't research. They call the first name with a phone number.

What we did

He wires houses. We handle the rest.

Rob shouldn't have to be good at websites, tracking and ads. That part is our job.

  1. 2025

Fix the site, then send people to it

We cleaned up the site and pointed two months of Google Ads at one thing: the phone.

  2. 2026

    Rebuild it around the call

A page for every job he does, from panel upgrades and generators to EV chargers and emergency calls, each answering a homeowner's real questions. His own job photos, no stock. His face next to every call button. All 236 reviews on his own site. Every call counted.

  3. Now

    Very local ads

Ads that only reach the towns he actually drives to, during the hours he answers, landing on a page built for one thing: calling Rob.

The EV charger installation page on brightideascorp.com: a real job photo, the phone number, and Rob's face next to the call button
One of his service pages: his own job photo, the number up top, and "You'll talk to Rob, the owner."

The result

The phone rang. Three big jobs booked.

Two months of ads, aimed at a site built for one thing: the call. Rob booked three big jobs from those calls, plus a run of smaller ones.
